great pack, for most uses

I really like this pack. It is well designed and made with high quality materials. I use it on planes, buses, overnight/weekend trips by car. I take it to the beach, the park, the office. However, I don't take it (any more) into the mountains or on serious hikes because it is a little too heavy, and frankly, it is not designed for that purpose.
massive

bought this to replace my older version that i gave to a friend. it's very convenient, with ample space and pockets. note: it's massive in size but also fits my 15" macbook pro in perfectly. i would suggest it for backpacking but there are smaller bags out there to get. this price is worth it though (good quality).
Very good quality and many many pockets.

I'm using this back pack as an emergency kit. The recent earthquake in Haiti reminds us of the importance of being prepared for natural disasters. I have put important documents, first aid, flashlights, pocket knives, radios in the back pack and I have room for more. It's a versatile and well made backpack and I recommend it highly.
Get one.

I was so excited to get a Swiss Army backpack for $29.99 on sale, but I did not realize how much I would love this backpack. Different than the other reviewer, mine is red and black just like the pictures. I love the side pockets to hold the power cords of all my electronics and all the space for my camera and accessories, with a separate area for the laptop. At the airport, I can pull out the laptop without having to open the other pockets.
I love the weight distribution and how sturdy it is on the back, including the waist strap to help balance the weight. Can run through the airport with it.
I am surprised to see it at $139.99 ... it is probably worth it based on construction and design, but I would recommend monitoring the price if you aren't in a hurry.

I really like this pack. I got it at 29.99 from Amazon as a Goldbox deal, and it's worth every penny. It is very spacious, the two side pockets are great for holding water bottles and the like. The front smaller pocket has lots of tiny compartment/pockets on the inside. The large compartment is divided by a separator, which is perfect for me because I mostly use this backpack for school. The main thing I like about this pack is all the cushion where it meets your back, more comfortable than my friend's Eddie Bauer backpack that is about the same size, same type of cushion style, and cost over $60. The media pocket on the inside of the larger section is real sweet too as they made it wide enough for a PSP or larger mp3 device, with the headphone slot it works great.
Just as great as the knives.
