Lots of pockets and space

I have an Alienware M15x, which is huge for a 15 inch screen. It fits snugly in this bag. I don't have to jam it in but there is not much extra space in the laptop area. Outside of the laptop area are lots of pockets and zippered spaces to keep things organized and easy to get at. The only thing I wish it had was a pocket for airline tickets. The front top pockets are good for passport, reading glasses, a flashlight and other small things used when traveling. The other pockets can hold anything else, cords, power supply, pens, keys, etc.. There's a space for everything for school or travel.
A pretty decent backpack

As a college student a good backpack is an absolute necessity. I have used this backpack for three months now to carry my laptop, books, and other stuff that a regular student would need throughout the day. It seems to work quite well though it has it's downfalls in certain areas.
So here is a rundown of the good:
-lots of compartments and zippers
-nice dark blue color
-lots of padding on the back
-has a very sturdy handle on top
-very sturdy/semi-water resistant fabric(Took it through heavy rain multiple times and the stuff inside
was dry though the outer fabric of the backpack was a bit wet)
-the compartment on the strap for a swiss army knife is quite useful if you have a small
phone(an iPhone would definitely not fit)
Here is a rundown of the bad(a description of why I think so will be below):
-needs more padding on the shoulders
-needs a larger water bottle holder
-quite heavy by itself
-needs a separator for the main two compartments
-not very breathable
The backpack as listed above is quite heavy by itself and could use more padding on the shoulders to help balance that out. The two water bottle holders are quite small which worries me every time I need to put a Sobe in there. In fact, the holders are barely enough to hold my .4L Sigg bottle in place. As for the two main compartments there is a seperator present though the seperator does not complete separate the two compartments and leaves enough room between the two for it to be a problem. I don't see myself as a really messy person, but if you happen to have any loose papers inside with your other stuff, even for just a short walk down the block, be prepared to find them crinkled or torn between the two compartments. Additionally, if you have any spiral notebooks or anything of the sort in there be prepared to find them partially sliding between the compartments and even slightly damaged depending on if you have some heavy textbooks in there. If you plan on using this backpack in warm weather or for hikes you might find yourself with quite a bit of sweat on your back, since the backpack adds head with the extra padding on the back and does not breathe very well.
Overall this backpack is fit to do it's job and is better than your usual JanSport backpack, but it is definitely not worth anywhere near the $100 price it is listed at now. There are better backpacks out there if your willing to pay in the $100 range that this backpack is listed under. However, if you happen to find this backpack for somewhere around $45 then I would definitely buy it.

My three teenagers have used SwissGear backpacks for years. Even after heavy everyday use, the backpacks still look like new. (I even pop them into the washer and freshen the packs up from time to time.) My oldest son recently started college, and he needed a pack with a padded section for his laptop. This computer backpack was a fantastic price and bargain for the quality and workmanship involved. It is a bit heavy, but my son is used to carrying large loads of books. So that is not a problem.
Nice backpack

As I really wanted Royal blue one, this one is still a good one.
Plenty of pockets, comfortable fit, big enough for all my gadgets and sturdy make.
My 15.4 inch laptop sticks out little more than 1 inch from the laptop pocket which is OK for me as my backpack usually travels in the backseat. Swiss knife pocket is a good fit for my hiking knife which is bigger than usual Swiss knife.
Excellent backpack!

I am very pleased with the Swiss Gear backpack. I had a Dell backpack for my previous Dell laptop and that backpack started to fall apart almost immediately after I started to use it. The Swiss Gear backpack is holding up very well. I use it almost every day of the week. The backpack is comfortable to wear and the weight is well distributed.
